FABERTry the beta

About Faber.

Faber is building autonomous engineering agents for the physical world.

Our vision

Just as coding agents transformed how software is built, we believe autonomous agents will transform mechanical engineering. Our goal is to make mechanical engineers 10× more productive — not by replacing their judgment, but by taking on the repetitive, tool-heavy work that stands between an idea and a manufactured part.

How it started

Faber started with a simple observation: mechanical engineers still spend too much time manually operating complex, disconnected software. Our founders came together from manufacturing and AI research around a shared conviction — the next generation of engineering tools should execute work, not just help engineers operate more interfaces.

What we’re working on

We are building Autonomous Manufacturing Agents (AMAs) to support mechanical engineers across their entire value chain: from CAD design and drawings to inspection and manufacturing preparation. We work with industrial partners and research collaborators, including DFKI, to advance the research needed to train our own models for real engineering environments.
